Geranium Moncense 'Claudine Dupont'

Virtually evergreen, this geranium is one of our favourites, with dusky pink flowers that appear weeks before other geraniums and therefore provide plenty of spring nectar for pollinating insects. A perfect plant for a semi-shade or shady woodland border, tyhey are untroubled by pests and provide colour throughout the year, from either flowers or foliage. Team with pulmonaria, hellebores, spring bulbs, tellima and lamium for a classic dappled shade border.
Planting guidance:
Prefers moist, well-drained soil in light or semi-shade. Planting companions include pulmonaria, hellebores, ferns, tellima and lamium.
Position: Front of border, shady areas, informal woodland borders.

Our plants are kept in nursery beds out of season, meaning that they generally don't spend longer than 3 months in a pot. Our plants are mainly available in either a 9cm or 2litre pot - please see photos for reference.
Out of season, we can provide our plants 'bare rooted'. This simply means they are provided without compost or a pot, in paper. This saves on plastic and means we can offer you plants at a reduced cost. Not all plants are suitable for bare rooting, and not all soils are ideal for bare roots to be planted! If you are keen to give bare root plants a try (and you should), but don't feel you have the confidence to try them, you can contact us our advice.
